I have always had a passion for learning and growing. In college, I originally started pursuing a business degree, followed by a Criminal Justice degree, until finally, I decided to follow my passion for teaching. I have now been teaching in Dickinson ISD for the past eight years. I was able to learn early on that teaching wasn't the easiest job but was definitely the most rewarding. I have taught 5th-grade, 7th-grade, and 8th-grade social studies along with coaching robotics, tennis, cross country, and even drones.

My passion for design led me to pursue a Masters in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. This degree has allowed me to hone in on his skills to create useful, engaging learning opportunities for all my students.

In my free time, you can find me working in his yard or out on the water sailing, or hanging out with friends.
